Lego Build FAQ
All your queries about building Lego at IDWCon
There will be 2 Lego builds, the Assassin and the Mummy, during the convention, with 2 workshops for each build. Each build costs €25. Workshops go on sale at 7pm Wednesday 12th March until 31st May, while stocks last.
Q: Can I buy both?????!!!
A: Yes of course! If you wish - you may purchase one of each build. Actually you can buy up to 2 of each (4 in total), so you can purchase for your friends or family.
Q: When will the builds take place?
A: Our programme is not yet finalised so we cannot give you an exact time yet. However, these will be assigned well in advance of the convention and you will be notified.
Q: But what if I leave early/arrive late and cannot attend my assigned slot?
A: We will do our very best to re-assign you to a slot that suits you.
Q: Can children attend?
A: I think it would be terribly mean if we said no!! However, please remember that, as per our policies, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times (we know you want to build it anyway!)
Q: What if I don't make it to the assigned build slot?
A: We will make a note and you can still pick up your Lego kit to build in your own time.
Q: I've bought a Workshops, but can no longer attend IDWCon - can I get a refund?
A: Unfortunately not. The pieces are bought to order and hence we must make these workshops non-refundable.
Q: I can no longer make it but I really want my Lego kit! Can I ask someone else to pick it up?
A: Yes! If you cannot make it and wish for a friend to collect it on your behalf, please email programme@idwcon.org with yours and their details. Please note: we need these details in writing - we will not hand over your build to anyone without your express permission.
Q: I'd like to do a build with a group of my friends - can we be grouped together?
A: We'll do our best within reason!! You can purchase up to 4 builds with the one membership and we will try to group them together. If you have bought separately - please email programme@idwcon.org with your details and we'll see what we can do.
Q: If I get stuck - will Matt help me???
A: Yes - he's very nice :)
