Membership costs

Similar to the hotel, we have found that prices of all goods and services has increased in recent years. We have had to increase membership prices a little to keep the convention viable. We have tried to keep this to a minimum - particularly for our concession rates. We hope this increase will not deter anyone from attending.

Membership Types and Costs

• Full Adult Membership: €95
• Concession*: €60
• Young Adult (6-17): €20
• Child (<6): €1
• Friend of the Convention**: €125

Memberships are limited to 300 members and will be on sale later in 2024.

Memberships are non-refundable.

*Concession memberships are available to people in retirement, unemployed, self-employed, students or people who are disabled. If you have another query around concession memberships please email chair@idwcon.org - we are happy to discuss.

** Friend of the Convention membership is exactly the same as a Full Adult Membership - but you would just be giving us a little extra funds. We have introduced this as a way to minimise price increases for other membership types - particularly Concession Memberships. No-one is expected to purchase a Friend of the Con Membership and there will be no indication of this Membership type on your badge or Membership number. You can just have a warm fuzzy feeling inside
